ILX69-PBS is a dedicated in-chassis fieldbus gateway module developed by ProSoft (Belden brand), exclusively designed for Rockwell CompactLogix 1769 series PLC rack.
Its core function: Turn the CompactLogix controller into a PROFIBUS DP DPV1 slave station, realizing two-way data exchange with Siemens S7, ABB, Schneider and other PROFIBUS DP master PLCs/DCS systems.
It is directly plugged into the 1769 local backplane, recognized by RSLogix 5000 / Studio 5000 as a standard I/O module, with built-in independent Ethernet diagnostic port and SD card slot for configuration backup & firmware upgrade. It is PI PROFIBUS certified and Rockwell Encompass authorized accessory, widely used for cross-brand PLC protocol interconnection in old European imported equipment.
