- Mode 1 (Redundancy Split): Convert 1 non-redundant M-bus into dual redundant A/B PROFIBUS lines, so ordinary single DP slave instruments, valves, analyzers can access the DCS redundant fault-tolerant network;
- Mode 2 (Redundancy Merge): Aggregate A/B two redundant PROFIBUS master lines into one single M output line, realizing automatic hot backup of the upper controller bus.
