The 1756-EN2TR is a dual-port EtherNet/IP communication bridge module designed exclusively for Rockwell Automation ControlLogix 5580/5380 and GuardLogix safety PLC chassis, serving as the core network gateway that links the rack controller to distributed I/O drives, HMI panels, SCADA hosts and motion control axes across industrial plant floors. This module supports up to 128 TCP connections and 256 CIP connections, and safely coordinates real-time cyclic data exchange for discrete control, process analog signals and synchronized multi-axis motion tasks with a maximum of 8 motion axes.
