The FS450R12KE3 paired with AGDR-71C is a complete power core assembly exclusively designed for ABB ACS800 high-performance industrial variable frequency drives. The FS450R12KE3 is an Infineon EconoPACK™3 half-bridge IGBT module with 1200V voltage class and 450A rated current, built with trench fieldstop chip technology to deliver low switching loss and excellent thermal dissipation under heavy load conditions. The matched AGDR-71C gate driver board undertakes signal isolation, gate voltage amplification and real-time hardware protection for the IGBT module. It adopts dual optical and magnetic isolation design to block high-voltage interference, instantly cutting off drive pulses once detecting short circuit, overcurrent or overheating to protect costly power semiconductors from burnout.
