The 8115‑DO‑DC is an 8‑channel non‑isolated sourcing digital output module for PAC8000 distributed remote I/O systemsEmerson. It switches external 2‑60 VDC bussed field power to drive non‑hazardous‑area solenoid valves, auxiliary relays and indicator lamps. It supports steady‑state discrete outputs as well as programmable pulse‑output sequences for remote‑site control logic. Per‑channel LED status indicators provide local visual diagnosis for each output point.

This module addresses remote‑I/O system challenges: medium‑density solid‑state DC switching for general‑purpose field loads, flexible pulse‑mode control, and drop‑in spare‑part compatibility for PAC8000 remote nodes. It is certified for installation inside Zone 2 / Div 2 hazardous‑area cabinets, but is not intrinsically‑safe and cannot directly connect to Zone 0/Zone 1 field instruments.
