It provides 32 configurable safety‑rated I/O channels for remote‑located field‑I/O cabinets, reducing long‑distance field‑cable runs from main SIS control room. Supports safety‑critical discrete and analog safety‑loop signals including HART smart safety transmitters. It communicates with main Safety‑Manager CPU over safety‑bus link. Full channel‑level diagnostics report wiring and module‑hardware faults to safety system. OEM production discontinued; available as refurbished / new‑old‑stock spare‑parts for ESD, fire‑and‑gas safety‑system retrofits.
