The 51400700-100 is a rack-mounted Data Highway Interface (DHI) board for the classic Honeywell TDC3000 DCS. It acts as the core communication bridge between operator stations, history modules and field control units such as UCN, PM and APM. It processes Data Highway protocol conversion, buffers real-time process data, transfers operator commands, alarm messages and trend data across the system bus. Continuous on-board diagnostics detect bus breakage, communication timeouts and hardware anomalies. The conformal coating protects the circuit board from moisture and dust in industrial control cabinets.
