Description

The ABB NGC8206 is a natural gas chromatograph and belongs to the third generation of Totalflow products.

Features
Accurate Analysis: Capable of remotely analyzing natural gas components from N₂ to C6+ (optionally separating H₂S) and calculating parameters such as calorific value. The analysis results include air in molar percentage form (including N₂, CO, and O₂), C1, CO₂, C2, C3, IC4, NC4, NeoC5, IC5, NC5, C6+, etc. It can also calculate various parameters such as gas compression ratio according to AGA 8, actual relative density, and Btu/CV value.

Efficient and compact: Features a modular design, including application-based plug-in software modules and multi-branch modules. It occupies only 1.1 cubic feet, takes up little space, consumes less than 7 watts of power, and can operate continuously.

Easy operation: The human-machine interface software (PCCU 32) based on Microsoft Windows 2000 or NT provides an intuitive interface, allowing settings, operation, data collection, and monitoring through prompts such as buttons, drop-down bars, wizards, and dialog boxes.

Easy maintenance: All hardware and software are designed as easily replaceable electromechanical modules, such as the NGC terminal panel, NGC analysis module, and analysis processor. They also feature automatic verification and diagnostic functions, with configurable automatic verification cycles to reduce maintenance workload.

Safe and reliable: The detector is a glass-encapsulated spherical thermistor that will not burn out in the absence of load gas. The dual 10-way solenoid valve contains no moving metal parts, features a three-level safety code for user access control protection, and also provides extensive diagnostic functions and operational alarms.

Technical ParametersPower Supply Voltage: Available in 12VDC and 24VDC options. For 12VDC, an AC power supply of 14.5V is recommended, with a maximum instantaneous current of 4A, and the average power consumption after startup is up to 7 watts; for 24VDC, an AC power supply of 25V is recommended, with a maximum instantaneous current of 2.2A, and the average power consumption after startup is up to 7 watts.

Ambient temperature: The normal operating temperature is from -18°C to 55°C, the storage temperature is from -30°C to 60°C, and it can operate reliably in an environment of -40°C to 55°C when using a cold-proof chassis.

Analysis time: approximately 5 minutes, with adjustable cycle intervals.

Carrier gas consumption: The typical consumption rate for helium carrier gas is 12 ml/min, with a maximum of 20 ml/min.

Communication ports: There are 2 remote serial digital communication ports, 1 local port, and optional USB (host and device) and Ethernet interfaces.

Application areas: Suitable for trade measurement, control of gas turbines in power plants, combustion control, and other fields.
