Product Overview
The 440N-Z21U17M18 is a high-security RFID coded non-contact safety door interlock switch from Rockwell’s Guardmaster SensaGuard product family, specifically designed for locking and monitoring machine protective guards, safety doors, access hatches and isolation enclosures on automated equipment. It adopts unique RFID encryption matching technology between the sensor and actuator, which effectively prevents bypassing or tampering with simple magnets or metal sheets, eliminating potential safety loopholes caused by artificial improper operation. The 15mm long sensing stroke greatly reduces installation precision requirements, adapts to slight deflection and sagging of heavy safety doors during repeated opening and closing. The dual redundant PNP safety outputs can be cascaded in series with emergency stop buttons, safety light curtains and other safety components, directly feeding into safety relays or safety PLC modules to cut off dangerous power, servo drives and hydraulic power sources immediately once the guard door is opened abnormally. The independent auxiliary signal channel transmits door status to the main PLC for HMI display, equipment standby locking and production log recording. The stainless steel cylindrical body and IP69K ingress protection make it fully resistant to water flushing, cutting fluid splashing, dust and corrosive gas, perfectly suited for CNC machine tools, packaging automation, robotic work cells, food processing machinery and automotive assembly lines.
