The PR6423/30J‑1001 is a high‑performance 8 mm eddy‑current proximity probe for EPRO/Emerson turbomachinery protection systems. Together with external CON021 or CON031 converter, it forms a complete non‑contact displacement measuring chain for critical rotating equipment.
The probe detects real‑time clearance variation between probe tip and rotating metal shaft by eddy‑current principle. It monitors radial shaft vibration, axial thrust position, shaft eccentricity and thermal expansion without physical contact, avoiding mechanical wear and signal distortion. The heavy‑duty armored cable withstands high temperature, oil splash and strong vibration typical inside turbine casings and compressor enclosures.
