It collects motor operating data, executes local start‑stop interlock logic, and exchanges real‑time status, alarms and event timestamps with upper‑level DCS / SCADA via LONWORKS fieldbus. On‑board event memory stores up to 20 alarm and trip records for post‑fault analysis. This unit replaces traditional separate protection relays and measurement instruments, reducing MCC cabinet wiring workload and improving system maintainability for heavy‑EMI industrial plant environments.
