It acquires analog and discrete field signals and drives final control elements, supporting HART smart transmitters and SOE event timestamping. Hot‑swap function allows module replacement without rack power‑down, minimizing plant downtime. Comprehensive built‑in channel‑level diagnostics speed field‑loop troubleshooting.
