Product Overview

The 8202‑HO‑IS is an 8‑channel intrinsically‑safe HART‑capable analog output module for PAC8000 remote‑I/O systems. It outputs certified energy‑limited 4‑20 mA signals to drive I/P converters, smart valve positioners and modulating actuators installed within Zone 0 / Zone 1 hazardous‑area locations. HART pass‑through enables reading device diagnostics, secondary variables and status information from HART smart field devices over the analog control loop.

This module addresses hazardous‑site control challenges: intrinsically‑safe analog control for explosive‑risk control‑valve loops, HART instrument diagnostic access, and drop‑in spare‑part compatibility for PAC8000 remote nodes. User‑configurable fail‑safe output states support upscale, downscale or hold‑last‑value upon bus or module fault. Automation engineers, oil‑gas pipeline‑station technicians and hazardous‑area retrofit integrators benefit most. It mounts on standard PAC8000 DIN‑rail carriers, supports hot‑swap replacement with system online, and executes modulating valve‑control functions for natural‑gas compressor‑stations, well‑sites and petrochemical remote‑site installations.
