Description
The Emerson VS3202 (internal model: SLS1508) is a dedicated redundant logic solver for the DeltaV SIS safety instrumented system. It meets the IEC61508 SIL3 highest safety level and serves as the core computing unit for the plant-wide emergency stop (ESD), combustion safety, and unit protection. It independently executes safety interlock logic from the conventional DCS controller and is widely used in petrochemical, power plant, and high-risk oil and gas process scenarios.
