Product Overview
The ABB OT63F4N2 is a 4‑pole OT‑series non‑fused switch‑disconnector. It provides safe visible‑gap isolation for three‑phase‑plus‑neutral circuits for maintenance lock‑out purposes. Important note: the base unit is delivered without operating handle and extension shaft, these must be ordered separately. It cannot trip automatically under overload or short‑circuit faults, over‑current protection has to be arranged by upstream protective devices. It solves typical low‑voltage‑cabinet pain‑points: lack of reliable visible‑isolation main‑switch for equipment overhaul, inability to lock‑off power source during maintenance work. Panel builders and maintenance technicians benefit from DIN‑rail clip‑on installation, wide accessory‑handle selection and drop‑in spare‑part replacement for existing OT‑series installations.
Application Scenarios
- MCC & control‑cabinet main isolating switch: Installed inside low‑voltage cabinets as main incoming‑line disconnector for pumps, fans and machine‑tool power circuits; enables safe power‑lock‑out for equipment maintenance.
- Commercial three‑phase distribution cabinet: Isolating switch for three‑phase power feeders for workshops and HVAC equipment.
