C6840-X-LE-40G is a 2U rack-mounted, high-density 10G/40G enterprise core / aggregation switch from Cisco’s Catalyst 6840-X series. It comes with the LAN Enterprise (LE) enterprise license and is mainly designed for medium-to-high-end campus network backbone, data center aggregation, and MPLS aggregation scenarios. It belongs to the fixed-port models of the Catalyst 6800 family and is not a modular line card.
