Product Overview
The MMS6824 is the core rack communication gateway and protocol conversion module for Emerson EPRO MMS6000 turbomachinery protection and condition monitoring system. It serves as the centralized data hub for the entire monitoring rack, aggregating real-time vibration, shaft displacement, speed, bearing temperature, alarm status and fault waveform data from all MMS6000 measurement boards through the dedicated EPRO RS485 fieldbus, then converts the closed proprietary EPRO protocol into universal industry-standard Modbus RTU serial and Modbus TCP/IP Ethernet protocols for upper system access.
