3. Product Overview

The XFR824A is a pluggable panel bus relay output module for Honeywell Excel 5000 / XL800 building automation systems. It provides six SPDT relay outputs to control fans, dampers, valves and auxiliary HVAC equipment. Integrated manual override switches allow technicians to force output status during commissioning or controller offline maintenance, independent of bus commands. Individual LED lights show real-time relay status for fast on-site checks. It connects to the XL800 controller via the dedicated panel bus and works with matched terminal sockets for stable field wiring.
