Product Overview

The RPC400 602093 is a rugged embedded remote panel controller PCB board belonging to Kongsberg 400-series marine automation platform, exclusively designed for shipboard critical control systems including Dynamic Positioning (DP), engine room monitoring & alarm systems (EOM), vessel propulsion control and offshore platform safety interlock systems. As a distributed slave computing node in the Kongsberg KM integrated marine control network, it collects on-site binary status signals from thrusters, valves, fire detectors, bearing temperature switches and door interlocks, executes local logic judgment, and transmits packaged data back to the main RCU500 central controller via multi-drop serial bus. It also receives command instructions from the master unit to drive on-site indicators, solenoid valves and alarm horn loads.
