Product Overview
The YOKOGAWA R20000 (µR20000) is a 180 mm wide intelligent industrial chart recorder supporting pen-type and dot-print recording configurations. This panel-mounted instrument accepts universal sensor inputs to continuously capture, display and archive process variables, solving traceability and real-time trend monitoring challenges for batch and continuous manufacturing processes. Process engineers, quality supervisors and maintenance teams utilising YOKOGAWA instrumentation rely on this recorder to generate permanent hard-copy chart records required for industrial audits and quality compliance. Equipped with VFD multi-channel display, configurable alarm functions and optional SD card digital data storage, it serves as a standalone data logging device or secondary monitoring terminal alongside DCS and PLC automation platforms. Key Functions
- Universal Multi-Channel Input Acquisition: Compatible with thermocouples, RTDs, DC voltage and 4–20 mA analogue signals. Pen-type variants support up to 4 measurement channels; dot-print models extend to 24 independent channels for large-scale process monitoring.
- Continuous Chart Recording & Visual Trend Display: Built-in mechanical printing mechanism traces real-time process curves onto circular chart paper. Operators can instantly observe temperature, pressure and flow fluctuations without relying on computerised logging systems.
- Configurable Alarm & Mathematical Calculation: High/low deviation alarms can be assigned to individual channels. Optional arithmetic function module supports compensation, logarithmic and F-value calculations for thermal sterilisation and thermal treatment workflows.
- Digital Storage & Industrial Communication: Optional SD card slot stores measurement data electronically; RS485 communication enables data exchange with supervisory systems. The recorder maintains independent paper recording capability even during network communication failures.
