Product Overview
The VTR-5NB is heavy-duty axial-flow exhaust turbocharger designed for medium-speed marine diesel engines and stationary power generation diesel units. It utilises exhaust energy to drive the turbine wheel, directly driving the centrifugal compressor to boost combustion air supply for the engine.
The robust rolling bearing structure delivers outstanding long-term stability under continuous high-load marine operating conditions. It supports wide adjustment via interchangeable nozzle rings and compressor diffusers to optimise matching with different power-rated diesel engines. Complete spare part supply covers turbine blades, compressor impeller, bearing housing, sealing rings and nozzle assembly for overhaul service.
This turbocharger improves engine power density, reduces specific fuel consumption and lowers exhaust emissions. Widely adopted for commercial vessel propulsion engines and on-board auxiliary generator sets.
