Product Overview
VTR-5NB is a heavy-duty legacy turbocharger from the BBC VTR product family, widely paired with Rolls-Royce Bergen four-stroke medium-speed marine diesel engines. It recovers waste energy from engine exhaust gas to drive the centrifugal compressor, supplying pressurized combustion air to the diesel engine.
Modular design allows interchangeable nozzle rings and compressor diffusers to optimize matching for different engine power ratings. The external bearing structure delivers outstanding stability under continuous heavy-load marine operation, suitable for heavy fuel oil combustion conditions.
