Product Overview

IS200EGPAG1ABC (EGPA) is exciter gate pulse amplifier board for GE EX2100 static generator excitation system. It accepts low‑level firing pulse commands from ESEL logic board, amplifies and isolates signals to generate high‑energy gate trigger pulses for six SCR thyristors in excitation power rectifier bridge. It acquires critical power‑bridge feedback signals: SCR heatsink temperature, cooling‑airflow status and conduction‑current feedback, feeds back status to control system for excitation protection. This board directly controls generator field excitation current to stabilise generator terminal voltage and reactive‑power output.
Important note: This board belongs to legacy Mark VI (not Mark VIe); must work with ESEL, EPDM and power‑bridge assembly, cannot run standalone.
