Description
MRN3-11D is an independent dual-channel overspeed safety protection module specially designed by Woodward for gas turbines, steam turbines, and diesel/gas generator sets. It is independent of the main speed control controller and serves as a second mechanical overspeed electronic protection measure. It meets the SIL safety protection standards for power plants and offshore platforms, preventing the unit from overspeeding and damaging the core equipment.
