Product Overview

The STBCPS2111 is a dedicated auxiliary logic power supply module for Schneider’s classic Advantys STB decentralized remote I/O system. It is specially designed to supplement insufficient 5V logic load capacity of the main network interface module (NIM) on STB I/O islands, converting external 24VDC field power into stable 5V backplane bus power for driving large quantities of digital and analog I/O modules on extended segment racks.

It solves core bottlenecks of distributed I/O system layout: total logic current exceeding the 1.2A load limit of the built-in power supply on the STB network interface module, unstable backplane voltage causing abnormal module communication and data loss, complicated power expansion wiring for multi-segment extended I/O islands, and cascaded module burnout risks triggered by field short-circuit faults.
