Product Overview
The Bently Nevada 3500/42M (140734‑02) is a four‑channel Proximitor / Seismic monitor card for the 3500 machinery protection rack system. It accepts signals from eddy‑current proximity probes, velocity transducers and accelerometers to perform critical machinery protection measurements including radial vibration, thrust position, differential expansion, eccentricity, REBAM, acceleration and shaft absolute monitoring.
Channels are programmed in pairs using 3500 Rack Configuration Software. Each channel supports user‑defined Alert and Danger alarm setpoints. Front‑panel BNC buffered outputs allow external signal observation without breaking field wiring. Isolated 4‑20 mA analog outputs deliver processed machine data to DCS / SCADA hosts for trending and historian logging. This module fulfills API 670 machinery protection requirements for rotating equipment, widely deployed for safety‑critical turbo‑machinery protection.
